EDUCATION
Paweł Kwaśny graduated with distinction from the Krakow Music Academy (Poland). He also studied at the Otto von Guericke Uniwersität Magdeburg (Germany) from which he graduated with the highest grade in 2005. In 2011 He obtained PhD degree at the Music Academy in Krakow. In 2013 he accompished his musical education with the prestigious Konzertexamen diplom at the Martin Luther Uniwersität Halle (Germany). His musical Mentors were prof. M. Nagy and prof. A. Mokry.
His special interest is music of the Latin America.


AWARDS & PRIZES
Paweł Kwaśny was a laureate of several national and international guitar competitions. Recently (as the only guitarist qualified to the final stage) he became the 2nd prize winner in the international competition for musicians Musik Braucht Freunde in Halle (Germany). He has taken part in numerous master classes with such great artists as Pepe Romero, Manuel Barrueco, Abel Carlevaro, Marco Tamayo, Roland Dyens, Carlo Marchione, Tilman Hoppstock, Fabio Zanon, Pavel Steidl and Ricardo Gallen.
SCHOLAR
For his musical achievements he was honoured the GFPS (Gemeinschaft für Wissenschaft und Kultur In Mitel-und Osteuropa) scholarship.
MUSIC ACTIVITY
Pawel Kwaśny gives many solo recitals and chamber music concerts. He cooperated with numerous chamber ensembles with the famous The Hilliard Ensembe among them. Paweł Kwaśny also performed and recorded the most famous guitar concertos with orchestras, among them Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez and Concierto Madrigal as well as the Heitor Villa-Lobos’s guitar concerto.
He has made recordings for Polish radio and television.


PEDAGOGICAL ACTIVITY
He is also an experienced teacher sharing his knowledge both with highly advanced students as well as with beginners.
